Are you from overseas? Travelling to New Zealand for your Wedding
Read the five questions below then look at: How to Choose the Right Wedding Celebrant
Your wedding ceremony is the vital link to the success of your wedding day. All your family and friends have gathered to share your special day, and will have happily accepted your invitation to offer you their love and support, as you take the next big step in your relationship. The words which are expressed in your wedding ceremony need to be meaningful to you, as well as reflect how you truly feel about the commitment you are about to make, as you declare before your family and friends your love for one another.
The top 5 questions: choosing a Marriage celebrant
1. WILL YOU FIT IN WITH THE CULTURE OF OUR FAMILY ?
As your marriage celebrant, I will support and offer guidance through the process. My friendly style will help you to relax and enjoy the very unique experience that getting married brings. If your wedding ceremony is personal, and focusses on the people who mean the most to you, it will have relevance than simply selecting words from a book.
I feel comfortable with anyone from any culture and am sensitive to customs and traditions.
2. HOW MUCH ARE CELEBRANT'S FEES ?
It depends on what the celebrant is offering. Between $300 and $1,000. Some celebrants have a sliding scale of fees, depending on how much or how detailed the ceremony, distance to travel etc.
My approach is to work to a high standard and quality service rather than a price. At our first interview I will give you a quote of my fee.
3. WILL YOU LISTEN TO WHAT WE WANT AND DO IT OUR WAY?
Yes. I have a flexible approach and will listen to your needs.
I have been working full time as a celebrant for the past 14 years, and bring a wealth of experience to my role. At this point in time I have assisted over 560 couples to tie the knot. See my reference page for comments from other couples.
My offer is a unique an unforgettable experience. An opportunity for a creative, personal, and tailor-made ceremony, designed to reflect your characters and personalities.
Your wedding ceremony is the heart of the day,if it has all the right components,it will be romantic, memorable, emotional, be dignified as well as fun. Not only will the tone be set for a wonderful and unforgettable day, but all your family and friends will be moved by the experience.
I will work with you as individuals. My flexible approach ensures that at the end of your wedding day you will be able to say that was perfect for us.
You may wish your wedding ceremony to encompass the following things:
To tell your love story, honour your parents/children/ your wedding party, or you may prefer to keep it short and simple. Because of my experience I know areas which could be stressful and how to avoid them. My role is to be your celebrant guide, and take control, so that you can relax and leave it to me to see that everything runs smoothly. Working with me as your celebrant ,you will have nothing to worry about.
4. HOW LONG WILL THE CEREMONY TAKE ?
Your wedding ceremony should not be rushed to give you time to absorb what is happening. Allow 45 minutes for your ceremony.
5. SHOULD I HAVE PHOTOS TAKEN BEFORE THE WEDDING ?
Having photos taken before gives you more time to be at your wedding and with your guests. When the bride makes her entrance it is still a magic moment.
