The last rite of passage is the funeral service. Mostly funerals are left for the family to organise at a time when emotions are fragile, and everyone in the family is grieving. It is vitally important that the funeral service of your loved one is conducted and designed to reflect the life of the deceased, and to give comfort to the bereaved.

I will, in consultation with your family, design a funeral service which will meet everyone’s needs, so that on completion everyone will feel satisfied that all that should be done and said has been done. I fully understand the grieving process, and will give support and sound advice from my many years of experience. You and your family are free to select the funeral celebrant you choose, not necessarily who the funeral director recommends.

Hi Sheryl, I am back in the UK and I would like to thank you very much for the lovely ceromony you did for us for our mum.

We wondered if we could be sent a copy of what you wrote. It would be lovely to have a copy. A number of people at the reception asked where we found you and we were happy to say from Liam so I am sure in the future some of them will contact you when the time is right.

Your compassion, sensitivity, knowledge, and the time you spent with Sarah and me talking about mum meant the service was personal and that everyone was happy with it and could relate to it.

Many thanks for helping me to create a ceremony for my brother.

I felt very privileged to witness and receive the tributes of his and my friends. It is amazing to think that it still meant so much to them thirty years after the terrible event.

I felt the initial interview with you was very helpful as you were the first outsider to whom I had spoken. Your advice and your pertinent questions were very helpful and insightful.
